Abstract: . This research understands legal protection in the implementation of land acquisition for the construction of the Getaci Toll Road in Margacinta Village, Leuwigoong District, Garut Regency. The problem of land acquisition includes the conformity of procedures with the laws and regulations stipulated in Law Number 2 of 2012 concerning land acquisition for development in the public interest and Government Regulation Number 39 of 2023 concerning the implementation of land acquisition for development in the public interest. Often, this process causes conflict in the community, especially with regard to compensation. This research aims to understand the land acquisition for the construction of the Getaci Toll Road in Leuwigoong District, Garut Regency, whether it is in accordance with the applicable provisions or not and for the legal certainty of giving compensation to the people affected by the eviction. The research method used in this research is the normative juridical approach method. Research specifications are analytical descriptive. Data analysis is carried out using qualitative juridical methods. The results show that this thesis is to answer the problems contained in Law Number 2 of 2012 concerning land acquisition, Government Regulation Number 39 of 2023 concerning the Implementation of Land Acquisition for Development for the Public Interest. Abstrak. Penelitian ini memahami perlindungan hukum dalam pelaksanaan pengadaan tanah untuk pembangunan Jalan Tol Getaci di Desa Margacinta, Kecamatan Leuwigoong, Kabupaten Garut. Permasalahan Pengadaan tanah mencakup kesesuaian prosedur dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2012 tentang pengadaan tanah bagi pembangunan untuk kepentingan umum dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 39 Tahun 2023 tentang penyelenggaraan pengadaan tanah bagi pembangunan untuk kepentingan umum. Seringkali, proses ini menimbulkan konflik di masyarakat khususnya berkaitan dengan ganti rugi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengadaan tanah pembangunan Tol Getaci Kecamatan Leuwigoong Kabupaten Garut apakah sudah sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku atau belum dan untuk kepastian hukum pemberian ganti kerugian kepada masyarakat yang terkena penggusuran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pendekatan yuridis normatif. Spesifikasi Penelitian adalah deskriptif analitis. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode yuridis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa skripsi ini untuk menjawab permasalahan yang terdapat dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2012 Tentang pengadaan tanah, Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 39 Tahun 2023 Tentang Penyelenggaraan Pengadaan Tanah bagi Pembangunan untuk Kepentingan Umum.
