Abstract: The aim of the work is to revise the taxonomic composition of the genus Luzula L. in the flora of Azerbaijan. Floristic-systematic, ecological and other methods were used. The materials of the Herbarium Fund of the Botanical Institute of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan were studied. 11 species of the genus Luzula L. were established. All species are widespread in the flora of Azerbaijan. A brief description of the biology and ecology of the species is presented.
