Data for this descriptive study were collected using the Hyde, Pethe, and Dhar-standardized and cross-validated Emotional Intelligence Scale (EQS). The findings revealed a substantial difference between the mean emotional intelligence scores of secondary school teachers and those of their age cohort. Nonetheless, there was no noticeable difference in emotional intelligence among teachers based on gender or experience.
