Synergy of Power Units and Lightweight Materials as a New Frontier of Energy Efficiency of a Motor Vehicle

Abstract: The article considers an integrated approach to increasing the energy efficiency of motor transport, which consists in simultaneous and interrelated optimization of the power unit and vehicle weight. It is proved that the synergistic effect of the combination of modern engines, electric drives and promising lightweight materials is a key factor in achieving new standards of environmental friendliness and efficiency.
