Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This research addresses the importance of developing socioemotional skills in teacher educators, highlighting their impact on educational quality and school well-being. From a transdisciplinary and critical perspective, it analyzes how the absence of these competencies creates unfavorable school environments, while their presence fosters empathy, communication, and resilience in educational settings. The study considers teacher educators as integral human beings who must teach not only through content but also with emotional awareness. The findings reveal that working on these skills transforms teaching practices, strengthens community ties, and enhances the educational experience for both students and teachers.
