Terrible T wave oversensing—programming pitfalls and optimization of the dual chamber implantable cardioverter-defibrillator with left bundle branch pacing

Abstract: Cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) are indicated for a variety of cardiac conditions.1–3 In the recent years, conduction system pacing (CSP) has been gaining popularity as an alternative to biventricular pacing (BiVP) to provide a more physiological ventricular activation and circumvent the detrimental effects of right ventricular (RV) pacing.2 CSP also appears to be an viable alternative for the “pace and ablate” approach compared to BiVP given comparable outcomes.4 Concurrently, there has been a rise in the number of available CIEDs, CIED algorithms and possible CIED-lead configurations.
