Type: article
Abstract: This study investigates the application of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology to improve the inventory management system at XYZ Automotive Firm. The research identifies significant issues such as inaccurate stock counts, delayed updates, and inadequate item tracking that led to operational inefficiencies and customer dissatisfaction. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the study involved detailed interviews with key stakeholders to identify root causes and develop targeted improvement plans. The PDCA methodology guided the systematic implementation of new inventory technologies, enhanced processes, and comprehensive staff training. The effectiveness of these interventions was measured through rigorous data analysis, revealing notable improvements in inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This study underscores the importance of continuous improvement and the strategic application of PDCA in optimizing warehouse inventory management systems, thereby enhancing overall service quality and operational performance.
