Abstract: Kaghofi-Gofine Niche in Liangkabori Village, Muna, Southeast Sulawesi, is an archaeological site that has not been extensively studied. This research aims to identify and elaborate on the quantity and motifs of rock art found in this niche. A qualitative method with inductive reasoning was employed, involving literature review, direct observation, interviews, data analysis, and interpretation. Rock art data were processed using Image Software with the D'Strecht Plugin for classification based on attributes and motifs (figurative and non-figurative). Morphological and technological analyses were applied to understand their forms, placements, colors, and creation techniques. The findings indicate that Kaghofi-Gofine Niche contains a total of 355 rock art images distributed across 108 panels. Identified motifs include human figures (160 images), animals (7 images), human and animal combinations (5 images), geometric patterns (76 images), kites (1 image), boats (1 image), hand stencils (3 images), and abstract forms (98 images). The predominant colors used in these rock paintings are black (53 images), brown (100 images), and red (99 images). These findings highlight the rich prehistoric rock art heritage in the region.
