Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: investigation was carried out to elucidate the influence of planting time and auxin treatments on the rooting and growth of An hardwood cuttings of wild pomegranate. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design (Factorial) with 28 treatment combinations comprising 7 auxin levels (IBA 2000, 2500 & 3000 ppm, NAA 2000, 2500 & 3000 ppm and control without IBA/NAA) and 4 planting times (15 & th 30 December and 15 & 30 January).2500 ppm of IBA (auxin) was found to be the optimum concentration used and 30 January was the th th th th most suitable time for planting hardwood cuttings of wild pomegranate under subtropical conditions to produce quality plants with a good root and shoot system.
