Abstract: This paper presents the design, modeling, and experimental validation of a non-destructive testing (NDT) system based on Eddy Current Testing (ECT) for the inspection of various conductive structures, including hollow tubes, flat plates, and complex geometries. The system integrates a motor-driven mechanical platform, a customfabricated eddy current probe, and real-time impedance measurement using an LCR meter. Its modular architecture allows the adjustment of the probe and motion configuration depending on the specimen under test. Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations were conducted using FEMM to model electromagnetic behavior and evaluate defect detectability.
