Abstract: Background: Applying autologous PRP to STSG sites have been shown to enhance graft adherence and promote early inosculation. PRP supports effective hemostasis by replicating the final stages of the coagulation process. The goal of this research was to determine the effect of PRP on the graft take of STSG and to assess both the early and late outcomes in the resurfacing of PBRA.Methods: This prospective comparative study included 20 patients (covering 40 raw area sites) aged 5–60 years (mean age: 19.2 years) of both sexes, each with PBRA involving < 10% of total body surface area. Participants were placed into two equal groups (Gs): Study G (A), which received STSG following local adminstration of autologous PRP to the wound bed, and Control G (B), which underwent conventional STSG without PRP application. Results: Raw areas before surgery, sites of burn and graft fixation were insignificantly different between both Gs. Regarding follow up results, graft take after 1 month, pigmentation and scarring were markedly different among both Gs (P
