Sports Projects as a Tool for Intercultural Dialogue: Integration of Migrants in an Urban Environment

Abstract: The study identifies the role of sports projects in the adaptation and integration of immigrants. The SWOT-analysis method identified key risks (segregation, extremist recruitment) and established the potential of sport as a tool for conflict prevention. An analysis of international cases proves that inclusive programs combining sport with intercultural training reduce crime. The results form a model for state programs that transform sport from leisure into a resource of social stability.
