Research on cargo volume forecasting at logistics sorting centers based on ARIMA models

Abstract: Nowadays, for the problems of the logistics industry, we established a volume prediction model modified according to the actual situation, and solved it according to the prediction algorithm. Combined with the historical case data, our team established an ARIMA daily volume forecasting model revised according to special circumstances for the daily volume, we also established a SARIMA hourly volume forecasting model for the cyclically significant hourly volume. The prediction results show the accuracy and rationality of the proposed method.
