Abstract: This community service activity aimed to improve the understanding of morphine a potent opioid analgesic with a high risk of misuse among non-health science students. The intervention involved 20 Informatics Engineering students at Jakarta Global University through an interactive educational session using visual poster media, along with pre-test and post-test evaluations. The pre-test results indicated a low initial understanding level of 37.5%. After the educational session, post-test scores increased significantly to 95%. This outcome demonstrates that communicative and visually aided educational methods are effective in bridging knowledge gaps among students from non-medical backgrounds. Such educational outreach plays a critical role in enhancing chemical literacy and promoting responsible awareness of morphine’s therapeutic use and associated risks
