Abstract: The paper presents a critical discourse analysis of the theme of resilience within the war-torn environment of Gaza, Palestine. The present study is aimed at seeing how the notion of resilience has been textually constructed and negotiated through discourses of communication in moments of conflict and hardship. This research looks into the discursive strategies and linguistic mechanisms used in the expression and enhancing of notions of resilience under pressure. The question of the discourse on resilience over the war in Gaza is a highly politicized one, reverberating both internally and externally.Resilience, discursively constructed, speaks to power relationships, ideological stances, and lived experiences of Palestinians amidst ongoing conflict. The purpose of this study is to critically analyze the discursive strategies used to represent and interpret resilience in Gaza. This paper pays attention to textual and linguistic data, focusing on the deeper ideologies, rhetorical devices, and narrative structures that track down, reproduce, and contest this discourse of resilience in times of war.Drawing from critical discourse analysis, the framework of the research will adopt an intersection of linguistic, sociological, and political dimensions to get insight into how language constructs and mirrors power relations and social realities. This study will bring out the discursive construction of what resilience is in the context of the wars in Gaza through the qualitative analysis of newspaper articles from the Guardian and WAFA News Agency. Results reflect that resilience in Gaza is discursively framed with narratives of steadfastness, endurance, and resistance against occupation and adversities.Metaphors, lexical choices, and the use of framing techniques further amplify and contest these narratives in ways that reflect the dynamics of power, identity, and resilience discourse. This study has, therefore, contributed to the existing scholarship on the rhetorical shaping and contestation of resilience in places of conflict, such as Gaza, thus affording insights into deeper socio-political dynamics and lived experiences
