Abstract: We identified 4 cases of presumptive autochthonous melioidosis during 1983-2024 in Georgia, USA. Epidemiologic investigation identified no recent international travel before illness; all cases were geographically linked, and 3 patients became ill after a severe weather event. Bioinformatic analyses revealed Burkholderia pseudomallei genome sequences were highly related, suggesting a shared exposure.
