Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: An innovative teaching program has been developed for the course «Injury Prevention and Pre-Medical Care» distinguished by its focus on the needs of students specializing in A7 «Physical Culture and Sports». The course structure, objectives, goals, as well as the competencies and learning outcomes to be achieved, are presented. A detailed description of a warm-up incorporating elements of joint gymnastics has been developed; it can be used both as an independent workout for non-athletes and as a warm-up routine suitable for various population groups. Recommendations are provided regarding the parameters for integrating warm-up training into the course curriculum. Nutritional guidelines are offered to support the body’s recovery from injuries. A list of foods and actions to avoid during the recovery period is also included. The program proposes examining injury characteristics and corresponding recovery measures depending on the type of sport. The module covering injury-related topics has been strengthened, especially those injuries whose likelihood increases during wartime. An expanded action plan for traumatic situations has been developed, encompassing measures from injury prevention to returning to normal life post-recovery. This work may be useful for sports educators, students, and individuals leading an active lifestyle and interested in their health.
