CPAP adherence in patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Treatment for severe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) involves continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), with a recommended minimum use of four hours per night. This study aimed to analyze treatment adherence among patients diagnosed with severe OSAS. Data from these studies revealed a frequent association with obesity, the main comorbidity, and also indicated good adherence to CPAP, with most participants using the device for at least four hours per day.
