Synergizing Enterprise Change Management with Enterprise Architecture: A Comprehensive Analysis
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Effective enterprise change management (ECM) is pivotal for organizations to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments. This paper examines the role of enterprise architecture (EA) in facilitating ECM and addresses key challenges in integrating ECM with EA frameworks, methodologies, and practices. Through a comprehensive review of literature and case studies, this research identifies best practices for aligning ECM with EA to enhance organizational agility, innovation, and resilience. By leveraging EA principles, such as standardization, integration, and alignment with business goals, organizations can streamline change processes, enhance decision-making, and mitigate risks associated with transformation initiatives. However, challenges arise in reconciling the differing perspectives and timeframes of ECM and EA, as well as in ensuring stakeholder engagement. The synthesis of this research provides actionable insights for practitioners and scholars seeking to optimize the synergy between ECM and EA, ultimately fostering organizational adaptability and competitive advantage in rapidly evolving landscapes.
