Optimization of Logistics Operation Mode in Automobile Manufacturing Supply Chain Based on Fourth-Party Logistics

Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: With the increasing development speed of China's automotive industry, automotive logistics is becoming increasingly popular! Everyone knows that the automotive manufacturing industry is notoriously difficult to handle in the logistics industry, with fierce global competition and prices continuously falling. For Chinese car manufacturers, how to control logistics costs has become a major issue in whether they can establish a foothold in the market. People often seek help from third-party logistics providers, but to be honest, sometimes they still feel powerless and unable to meet the diverse and customized services, let alone meet the high global standards. Now there is a new thing called Fourth Party Logistics, which is a novelty! Fourth party logistics and the big players in China's automotive supply chain - car manufacturers - use their professional knowledge and experience to help car manufacturers improve logistics management. They can not only provide customized services, but also integrate various resources to make the operation of car manufacturers smoother. With the help of fourth party logistics, car manufacturers no longer have to worry about trivial logistics issues and can focus on production and innovation. The entire automotive supply chain can benefit, with improved efficiency, reduced costs, and naturally increased competitiveness. In the long run, this cooperation approach will definitely enable Chinese car manufacturers to stand firm in the fierce market competition and demonstrate their strength. The current market environment is so cruel that if you can't do it, you'll have to be eliminated. So, I think the cooperation between Fourth Party Logistics and Chinese car manufacturers is definitely a win-win situation, and it is worth looking forward to and paying attention to!
