Research on the Current Situation, Evolution Trend, and Hot Spots of College Students’ Social Practice in Universities: A Bibliometric Analysis Based on Core Journals in CNKI over 20 Years

Abstract: In order to accurately grasp the hotspots of the current research on college students’ social practice and further clarify the development of college students’ social practice, the article uses CiteSpace software and Excel software to sort and analyze the relevant literature on college students’ social practice research included in the core journals of China Knowledge Network (CNKI) and CSSCI journals from 2004-2024. The results show that the number of literature surged from 2004 to 2012, but has been declining in recent years; most of the research institutions are colleges and universities, and most of the researchers engaged in the study of social practice of college students are teachers engaged in higher education in colleges and universities, and there is a lack of communication and cooperation among institutions; high-impact literature was published in the period of 2008-2015, and the journals that contain the literature are more concentrated, and the proportion of fund thesis is smaller, so it is necessary to enhance the support for the study; the researchers should be supported. Enhance the support for this research; the research on social practice of college students can be roughly divided into three stages, the content of the research from the implementation of the path gradually to the transition to the ideological leadership, the mechanism mode of social practice of college students and the role of ideological and political education is the hot spot of the current research. The social practice of college students has been carried out earlier, and has formed a relatively perfect training mode, but with the change of the times, the development of social practice still needs to be deepened and innovated, through the study of the literature in the related research field, it is clear that the problems arising from the research of social practice of college students should be studied in depth in terms of the content, mechanism, nurturing function and strengthening the communication and cooperation between colleges and universities.
