Abstract: This paper deeply explores the application of computer image processing technology in the field of tongue image feature extraction. Through a comprehensive overview of computer image processing technology, its specific applications in aspects such as tongue image contour extraction, tongue image feature extraction, tongue color classification extraction, tongue image texture analysis, and tongue image edge detection are elaborated in detail. Moreover, through experimental design and analysis of application effects, the effectiveness and accuracy of this technology in tongue image feature extraction are demonstrated, providing technical support and theoretical basis for the modern development of traditional Chinese medicine tongue diagnosis.
