Abstract: This article presents a control strategy for the stochastic H∞ fixed-time stability of network-based control systems (NBCSs) subject to data loss, time delays and disturbances. The design procedure considers that the NBCS is represented in a discrete-time state-space form, incorporating time-varying input, state delays, and random data packet losses modelled using independent Bernoulli binary white distributed sequences. The disturbances are also treated as random variables characterised by zero-mean white sequences. Using the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a sliding mode controller is developed to derive an H∞ fixed-time control law for NBCS, taking into account data loss, external stochastic disturbances and time-varying delays. Two examples are included to illustrate the performance of the introduced approach.
