Abstract: This news section offers Cancer readers timely information on events, public policy analysis, topical issues, and personalities. In this issue, recommendations highlight important updates specific to systemic therapy options for those with newly diagnosed or previously treated multiple myeloma. In addition, a persistent PSA level following radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer is associated with a worse prognosis, and outcomes show a reduction in treatment failure associated with dose‐escalated, hypofractionated radiation therapy for localized prostate cancer.
