Abstract: Patient Information: A 19-year-old male presented to the hospital in the outpatient department with a primary complaint of a dull ache in the right leg for 3 months, followed by swelling below the right knee for 2 months. The pain was worse at night and during physical activity.Patient denies any history of trauma, fever, weight loss, or constitutional symptoms.Clinical Findings: Physical exam revealed a firm, tender and warm swelling measuring 10 cm x 7 cm over the proximal tibia with slightly reduced range of motion. No evidence of coinciding neurological or vascular deficits noted.Plain X-ray films of the right leg revealed a metaphyseal osteophytic lesion in the proximal tibia containing areas of sclerosis and periosteal reaction suggestive of a malignant bone tumor.
