Abstract: The management of hostels in educational institutions plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, student satisfaction, and administrative efficiency.Traditional hostel management practices rely heavily on manual record-keeping, which often leads to inefficiency, delays, and errors in processes such as room allotment, attendance tracking, food preferences, and staff coordination.This paper proposes a comprehensive framework for the "Shantiniketan", a digitalized platform that integrates automated room allocation, customizable food selection, attendance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making through analytics.The system architecture incorporates role-based dashboards for students, staff, wardens, and administrators, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and scalability.A prototype was developed using Python Flask/Django, MySQL, and web technologies, with key modules tested under real-time scenarios.Results indicate improvements in accuracy, reduced manual workload, and enhanced hostel administration.The study discusses implementation outcomes, system benefits, limitations, and future enhancements such as cloud deployment, biometric integration, and AIdriven analytics.
