Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the landscape of education worldwide, and mathematics, being a conceptually demanding subject, benefits significantly from AI integration.AI-based tools such as adaptive learning systems, intelligent tutoring platforms, and automated grading mechanisms are transforming traditional methods of teaching and assessment.This research paper explores the integration of AI in mathematics education with a focus on its advantages, limitations, and implications for the Indian education system.A review of existing literature, analysis of secondary data, and critical interpretation highlight the relevance of AI in enhancing student learning, reducing teacher workload, and enabling personalized instruction.The paper concludes with findings and suggestions for balanced AI integration in mathematics teaching and assessment in India.
