Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The negative consequences of the impact of global climate change and other stress factors on the environment have been identified, which has become a global problem that carries the risks of a food crisis and the impossibility of guaranteeing sustainable development of grain production and food security for humanity in the future. To solve these problems in the conditions of climate change, martial law and in order to ensure further integration of Ukraine into the EU, it is proposed to introduce adaptation technologies, which include the creation and use of competitive and promising varieties of winter wheat, optimization of sown areas and the introduction of a system of scientifically based crop rotations with traditional and less common grain crops, use of a system of soil protection tillage with mulching, application of organic and mineral fertilizers with elements of biologization. The use of such adaptation technologies will contribute to the preservation of the environment from pollution, land resources from degradation while simultaneously solving the food problem and providing consumers of the world market with highquality grain products, which will contribute to improving the health of the population and the harmonious development of rural areas, especially in conditions of climate change.
