Abstract: Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by mites known as Sarcoptes scabiei var.hominis, classified under the phylum Arthropoda, class Arachnida, order Acarina, and family Sarcoptidae. It is commonly referred to as kudis or gundik among the general population. This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge level and scabies prevention behavior among adolescents at Pondok Pesantren X Mojokerto. The study employed a quantitative, observational, analytical design with a crosssectional approach. The population comprised all 326 male junior high school students at Islamic Boarding School X, Mojokerto.A total sampling technique was used to select all 326 respondents. The instruments employed were a questionnaire and a scabies observation sheet.Data were analyzed in stages and statistically tested using the chi-square test. The results showed that 129 respondents (46.2%) demonstrated good hygiene practices, while 197 respondents (53.8%) demonstrated poor hygiene practices.A total of 122 respondents (39.6%) had high levels of knowledge, whereas 204 respondents (60.4%) were classified as having poor knowledge. The chisquare test, with a margin of error of 0.05, yielded a P-value ≤ 0.01; thus, H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. This indicates a significant relationship between knowledge level and scabies prevention behavior. There is a significant correlation between the level of knowledge and preventive behavior toward scabies among adolescents at Pondok Pesantren X Mojokerto.Strengthening health education and promoting personal hygiene are essential to reduce scabies transmission in boarding schools.
