Optimal maintenance through statistical failure data in a garbage fleet. A case of study

Abstract: The main focus of this study is to obtain an optimal maintenance to a garbage fleet. To achieve this, statistical failure is examined, analyzed and compared with the actual costs that the city council pays for the maintenance service. This article presents a proposal for analyzing failure data from a fleet of KENWORTH [M-T370] garbage fleet. The objective is to identify and implement strategies that reduce operating costs and extend the vehicle lifespan through optimal maintenance.
