Stellar Symbiosis: Rotating Community Architecture Through Solar System Phenomenological Astro-Architecture
Year: 2025
Type: preprint
Abstract: This paper presents a comprehensive framework for revolutionary urban design termed "Stellar Symbiosis," integrating rotating building technology, centralized solar energy distribution, pneumatic waste management, artificial gravity simulation, immersive cosmic phenomena, and phenomenological architecture into a cohesive urban ecosystem that mimics solar system dynamics.Drawing from established research in rotating architecture, sustainable urban systems, neuroarchitecture, social cohesion theory, and biomimicry, this work proposes the first documented city-scale integration of these technologies into a living cosmic simulation.Through systematic analysis of existing technologies and theoretical frameworks, we demonstrate the technical feasibility, social benefits, and environmental sustainability of communities organized as orbital systems around central energy hubs. This paradigm addresses critical urban challenges including energy efficiency, waste management, social isolation, circadian health disruption, and environmental sustainability while providing unprecedented experiential richness through cosmic phenomenology. The proposed research agenda includes pilot implementations, longitudinal studies, and scalable deployment strategies for transforming urban living through cosmic-inspired design.
