Laser treatment for vascular lesions was a mediator for the observed differences in wRVUs by race (60.5% [95% CI = 45.8-75.1%] for Asian race, 62.4% [95% CI = 52.9-71.9%] for Black race, and 53.3% [95% CI = 31.7-74.9%] for other races). Variations in wRVUs by patient race may create inadvertent incentives at the health systems level to prioritize certain groups.
