Abstract: Conventional electrophysiology mapping techniques—voltage, activation, and conduction velocity—identify structural and timing abnormalities but do not characterize tissue recovery. Yet reentry is governed not only by conduction delay or fixed obstacles but by spatial dispersion in refractoriness. Without direct visualization of recovery gradients, reentry-prone zones remain difficult to localize.
