Research on high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin: Based on the perspective of industrial ecologization and ecological industrialization

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The synergistic development of industrial ecologization and ecological industrialization is an important means to achieve high-quality development. Taking nine provinces of the Yellow River Basin from 2010 to 2022 as the research object, the coupling coordination model, obstacle degree model and GeoDetector were used to analyze the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics and influencing factors of the synergistic development of industrial ecologization and ecological industrialization. The findings are as follows: (a) From 2010 to 2022, the level of industrial ecologization, ecological industrialization and synergistic development of "Two Transformations" in the Yellow River Basin continues to rise, and the regional differences are obvious; (b) From the analysis of internal influencing factors, the total water resources in the index layer have the greatest impact on the coupling and coordination of the system, while the environmental supporting conditions, economic development level and industrial development basis in the criterion layer have the greatest impact on the coupling and coordination of the system. (c) From the analysis of external market influencing factors, the general public budget expenditure by the government, government energy conservation and environmental protection expenditure, central water conservancy construction plan investment and GDP have the greatest impact on the coupling and coordination of the system, and the interaction impact of each influencing factor is greater than that of a single factor. Therefore, we should promote the synergistic development of industrial ecologization and ecological industrialization from the aspects of developing new quality productivity forces, top-level design and breaking through obstacles.
