Abstract: ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Jorel Padilla is first author on ‘ Dystrophin interacts with Msp300 to regulate myonuclear positioning and microtubule organization’, published in JCS. Jorel is a PhD Student in the lab of Dr Eric Folker at Department of Biology, Boston College, USA, investigating how the cytoskeleton regulates dynamic intercellular movement and organization.
