Abstract: In the current era characterized by rapid technological advancements and the onset of the information age, big data technologies have become integral, deeply embedding themselves in various sectors and driving industry transformations. As a crucial component of China's educational framework, higher vocational colleges have a clear mandate: to cultivate vocational talents tailored for the evolving needs of the country's socio-economic development. With ongoing societal and technological changes, these institutions are continually exploring new pathways in teaching philosophies and systemic reforms. Among these initiatives, examination reform is pivotal in enhancing the quality of education and fostering comprehensive development in vocational colleges. This paper delves into the reforms in the English language curriculum within higher vocational colleges, examines the application of big data technologies, confronts associated challenges, and aims to develop an examination reform system that aligns with contemporary requirements.
