Abstract: The rural revitalization strategy is an important development strategy in the new era of our country, and it is of great significance to explore the coordinated development of higher education and rural revitalization. This paper conducts research on this. First, a comprehensive index evaluation system for the two systems of higher education and rural revitalization in our country is constructed, and the principal component analysis method is used to comprehensively evaluate the two. Secondly, the coupling and coordination model is used to study the coupling and coordination relationship between the two systems, and combined with actual statistical data for analysis, the results show that the high-level coupling between higher education and rural revitalization in our country is showing an increasing trend year by year. Finally, suggestions are given from the aspects of the education system, the integration of industry and education, and capital investment to better provide higher-level talent support for rural revitalization.
