Dual-state emission of phosphorus-doped carbon nitride quantum dots with high quantum yield
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Phosphorus-doped carbon nitride quantum dots (PCNQDs) with dual-state emission (DSE) were synthesized via solid-phase reaction of carbon nitride quantum dots (CNQDs) with phosphoryl chloride trimer in a tube furnace under an argon atmosphere. The results demonstrate that the quantum yield in the liquid state increased from 1.34% for CNQDs to 24.17% for PCNQDs, while in the solid state, it rose from 0.09% to 25.80%. Furthermore, we also achieved the dual-state applications of PCNQDs.
