Innovative Dual Catheter Irrigation Technique for Clot Retention in a Hospice Setting: A Case Report

Abstract: Clot retention can be challenging to manage in a hospice setting in the final days, especially if a blocked urethral catheter cannot be replaced. Small-bore suprapubic irrigation using equipment commonly available in hospices can provide symptom relief without the need to transfer to acute settings.
