Analisis Risiko Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja dengan Metode Hazard And Operability Study (HAZOP) dan Pendekatan Ergonomi pada PT Kembar Cipta Raya
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a crucial aspect in ensuring worker safety and maintaining smooth company operations. This research was conducted at PT Kembar Cipta Raya, a company engaged in land clearing and post-mining land reclamation, focusing on tree bucking activities. The methods used in this study were the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) to identify potential hazards, and the Nordic Body Map (NBM) to evaluate musculoskeletal complaints among workers. The analysis revealed 13 potential hazards, with 10 categorized as high risk and 3 as medium risk. The highest risks were found in core activities such as tree bucking involving the use of chainsaws under non-ergonomic conditions, including compressed wood positions, sloped terrain, and simultaneous cutting of two logs. NBM results showed that five workers had high-risk scores, with dominant complaints in the lower back, forearms, shoulders, and upper back. Hazard control was carried out through safe work technique training, the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and the application of ergonomic principles. These control measures align with OSH regulations and aim to reduce the risk of workplace accidents and health disorders.
