Abstract: Ongoing research in the field of pediatric endodontics has led to the development of many file systems with improved efficacy and added advantages.Although, it may be mentioned that in literature, various studies were found comparing Kedo-S rotary files with other hand and rotary files, as well as Kedo-SH manual files with other files, but not many comparative studies between Kedo-SH manual files with Kedo-S rotary files have been found.Consequently, a comparative study of efficiency and subsequent IntroductIonPrimary teeth are extremely important as they can cause pain, space loss, loss of arch circumference, and tooth loss. This, in turn, causes a loss of masticatory function, malocclusion as a result of aberrant and delayed eruption of permanent successors due to space loss, affecting the child's development and growth due to impaired nutritional uptake, negative attitude toward dental care in adulthood, exacerbating the situation.1,2 Pulp canal therapy entails removing the pulpal tissue, necrotic tissue, and canal space preparation, following obturation with a suitable resorbable material. The biomechanical preparation is crucial to the success of this procedure and provides a pathway for the irrigation to reach the apical third of the root. The primary goal is to debride the root canal and keep the involved tooth in a nonpathologic state until the tooth exfoliates.3 Traditionally, hand files are utilized for chemomechanical preparation during pulpectomy procedures. It might be difficult to use due to narrow, curved canals in deciduous teeth and continuous physiological resorption. The use of hand files may make appropriate filling harder, lengthen treatment time, and cause iatrogenic problems such as ledging, zipping, canal transfer, and apical blockage. The protracted duration of treatment may have a negative impact on the child's conduct. To overcome these challenges, Ni-Ti (Nickel-Titanium) rotary instruments were evolved for canal preparation in deciduous teeth.Barr et al. 4 determined that using rotary files composed of Ni-Ti in deciduous teeth lowered the preparation time and resulted in a more consistent, funnel-like obturation.
