Abstract: Ideological and political education is a systematic, continuous and deepening process, featuring continuity, phased nature and hierarchy. The primary and sec-ondary school stage is an important period for the formation and develop-ment of an individual's ideology and morality, as well as a crucial stage for ide-ological and political education. Under the current new circumstances, con-ducting an in-depth analysis of the basic connotations and characteristics of the integrated construc-tion of ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools, sys-tematically studying the main problems existing in the process of integrated con-struction, and exploring effective paths to promote the integrated construction of ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools are of great significance for advancing the reform and inno-vation of ideological and political education in primary and secondary schools.
