Abstract: The author substantiates the relevance of interdisciplinary and philosophical and anthropological comprehension of the mediatrauma. The article presents the conceptualization of the media as a marginal situation of human existence. The author defines the understanding of the existential peculiarities of the medical-traumatic experience and self-realization in the modern mediavariety context.
