Analysis and Study on Corrosion Mechanism of Jurassic in Wujiaoxi Based on On site Corrosion Monitoring Device

Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: It has recently been observed that corrosion perforation has become a prevalent issue in surface pipelines within the oil and gas industry, giving rise to a range of operational and environmental challenges. By monitoring and analyzing the corrosion of the ground system hanging rings at high corrosion points on site, the corrosion mechanism, laws, and influencing factors of the ground system of the Jurassic oil reservoir in Wujiaoxi were clarified, laying a theoretical foundation for the supporting protective measures in Wujiaoxi and forming a comprehensive anti-corrosion technology for the ground system of the Jurassic oil reservoir in Wujiaoxi. The micro-surface morphology of the corroded hanging rings was observed and evaluated by means of a scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) unit. Furthermore, the surface composition of the corroded hanging rings was analysed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Through the research of this work, we can comprehensively grasp the corrosion mechanism and influencing factors of the surface system of the Jurassic oil reservoir in Wujiaoxi. Based on the research results, it will help to develop targeted prevention and control measures and apply them in field experiments.
