Abstract: Tongbimiao Formation in Wuerxun Depression is an important exploration field in Hailaer Basin, which is mainly dominated by conglomerate deposits, but the unclear characteristics and genesis of conglomerate reservoirs restrict oil and gas exploration process. On the basis of coreobservation and conventional slice analysis, the innovative application of super-large slice analysis and large-field slice analysis technology, through the seamless stitching of high-resolution wide-field microscope images, the construction of large-scale conglomerate microscopic images is realized, and the qualitative and quantitative characterization of the sample’s reservoir space, skeleton particles, matrix types and pore types in the super-largefield of view is realized. With the experimental analysis of high pressure hg injection, constantrate hg injection, electron microscope, over-pressure porosity, different scale micron CT scanning and digital core 3D reconstruction and so on, we studied the petrology, physical properties, rock space, porosity charactors and controlling factors of tight reservoir. Through the results, we see that the reservoir space of Tongbimiao Formationin is mainly consisted of intergranular dissolution pores and then intragranular dissolution pores. Three types of sandstone conglomerate reservoirs are developed, the same level granular support, multistage granularsupport and hybrid foundation support. The pore sorting of the same level granular support sandstone conglomerate is good, and the pore space connectivity is strong, and the reservoir generally presents the characteristics of low porosity and low permeability. Primary sedimentation and secondary compactionand dissolution mainly affect reservior physical propertiy. The higher the content of complex base inconglomerate reservoirs developed, the worse reservoir physical properties are.
