Abstract: Air target detection is the prerequisite and foundation of information acquisition and win-win realization. In order to obtain the information initiative, this paper puts forward the idea of constructing and applying the framework of wide-area joint air target detection based on clusters, analyzes the necessity of constructing the framework of wide-area joint air target detection from the basic concept of clusters. The content of the wide-area joint air target detection framework is studied from three aspects: equipment force composition, information system composition and rule mechanism integration. And the combat application research is carried out around the four basic activities of "intelligence, decision-making, planning and control". The aim is to achieve a prominent increase in detection advantages, complementary detection resources and improved detection benefits within the aerial target detection community.
