Educación inclusiva y vulnerabilidad socioeconómica: desafíos y aportes del Trabajo Social en contextos de desigualdad
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Inclusive education refers to an educational philosophy that seeks to provide equitable access to learning for all students, regardless of their diverse economic, social, and cultural backgrounds, and even abilities. This article, from a critical perspective grounded in the theoretical and practical framework of Social Work, addresses the complex interrelationship between inclusive education and socioeconomic vulnerability in contexts marked by profound structural inequalities. Using a qualitative approach based on a documentary review and critical analysis of the variables under study, the study shows that, despite regulatory advances in inclusive education, significant gaps persist that guarantee the right to education with equity. From these perspectives, the strategic role of Social Work is highlighted as a discipline committed to social justice, the promotion of rights, and biopsychosocial intervention in school settings.
