Stem Cell‐Based Cancer Therapies: A Commentary on Therapeutic Promise, Health Impacts and Translational Barriers
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Stem cell-based cancer therapies offer novel mechanisms for tumour targeting, immune modulation and tissue repair, with applications from haematopoietic to induced pluripotent stem cells. While showing strong therapeutic promise, their clinical translation is hindered by ethical, regulatory and economic barriers. Coordinated global action is essential to unlock their full potential in oncology.
