Abstract: This article aims to explore the application trends and challenges of combining deep learning and flipped classroom in college physical education teaching, and to construct a college physical education teaching model based on deep learning and flipped classroom. The order of physical education teaching content and helps students build a more systematic physical education knowledge system. The model also improves the amount of effective dialogue in class, stimulates students' participation and independent learning in class, and improves the application ability of theoretical knowledge in sports practice through continuous discussion and exploration. This learning environment improves the effective input of sports knowledge and promotes the improvement of academic performance. This shows that the teaching mode combining deep learning and a flipped classroom has significant advantages in improving students' sports skills and learning enthusiasm.
