Diálogo intercultural: Salazar Bondy y Daisaku Ikeda, puntos de encuentro entre la alienación, la autenticidad y la liberación
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Intercultural dialogue between the West and the East is crucial in the current geopolitical context, a dialogue that must aim to achieve peace and order amidst the prevailing anarchy of norms, values, and anomies within our tripolar world. To this end, this research seeks to explore the points of contact between the thought of Augusto Salazar Bondy and Daisaku Ikeda. It is also an intergenerational, albeit contemporary, dialogue. Authenticity, domination, transcendence, liberation, and the transformation of individuals and social structures are core themes of this inquiry. This preliminary study demonstrates that such convergences are possible, despite the apparent conceptual distance and differing intentions that might be presumed to exist between thinkers so separated by geography, context, and time; indeed, the study of their ideas reveals the contrary.
